As I'm sure most of you have heard, we will be traveling to our yearly assessment this Friday from the school. Like in previous years, it will be held at Trinity Presbyterian Church in Clearwater and our singers will perform in the morning block on Friday. Our plan is to meet in the choir room 1st period and then we will take a bus to the church all together. The bus will be leaving no later than 7:45 AM and we should return before the end of the day. Scholars will be able to go home in their usual manner at the end of the day and lunch will be provided at the school once we return (pizza and drinks). The policy for the venue requires that all wear masks unless they are performing which is when they will be able to remove them. If your child chooses to wear one the entire time, that is also acceptable! Attire for the event will consist of all black (pants, skirts, shirts, shoes, etc.) clothing that must cover all the way to the ankles. Tops can vary as long as they are school appropriate and cover midriffs, shoulders, and chest. Please make sure that it is plain black with no logos! If there are questions, feel free to ask! We are very excited to announce that our Madrigal Dinner is once again going to take place this year! We will have a true Renaissance experience with recipes from the time period and a new dining experience for all! We will have some of your favorite foods as well as some new recipes and foods we are excited to have you partake in. Tickets will be $35 each and the event will be held on December 18, 2021 at Faith Community Church in Seminole. Doors will open at 6:00 PM. You may purchase tickets here at https://largomadrigals.com or by going to the Madrigals tab on this website. We hope to see you there!
Due to our current circumstances with Covid-19, we are unable to make this announcement at school but we would like to congratulate our Largo High School Madrigals for the 2020/2021 season. Congratulations to all who auditioned - it was a very tough decision trying to balance the sections but we have come up with a group that will take the abilities and skills of everyone who auditioned and make us all proud! Our Seniors would like to send a message to our new and returning members: "Congratulations to all of the new madrigals & to all our vets for working SUPER hard to be amazing musicians, singers, and overall role models. The seniors already KNOW y'all are gonna make us so proud:)! Never stop growing - can't wait to see how this next season turns out💛💙."
